World Maths Day
On Wednesday 7th March our students had the opportunity to take part in World Maths Day where they competed in an online Mathletics challenge, going up against 4 million students from all around the world. The competition measures speed in arithmetic and numeracy skills on the Live Mathletics platform and runs for 48 hours. Students were all very engaged, having fun and it bought out their competitive streak (including Miss Rodas’). Students answered maths questions, which will earn them UNICEF points. These are converted into money to directly support education programs where resources are desperately needed.
