Learning new sports through an International lens
Our Middle School students have had the opportunity to discover a new and fun sport named Cope Ball this term. While relatively unknown it is a game we learned from our Valencian friends in our exchange to their school last year. The game originated from Valencia (Spain) and involves striking the ball with an open hand while trying to score in a goal area. This underlines the value of our exchanges with our fellow IES and SEK schools as we broaden our horizons culturally, academically and in the sporting arena. We thank the Colegio Internacional de Levante and their wonderful staff for enriching our learning experience.
